Ingredients
- 1 cup milk of your choice (Almond milk, whole milk...)
- 3 tablespoons pumpkin puree (canned or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon warm spice mix--made with equal part of ground ginger, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg (that you can add to other drinks and dishes)
- 1/2 cup freshly brewed coffee
Instructions
Prepare frothed pumpkin milk
- Method 1: If you have a Nespresso machine with a milk frother, just put all the ingredients except for the milk in a cup, froth the milk using your Nespresso machine, pour it into the cup and mix well.
- Method 2: Heat the milk in a microwave for 1 minute (Hot! Be careful!), mix in the rest of the ingredients. Using a stick blender to blend and froth the milk.
- Method 3: This method will only work If you are using 2% or nonfat milk. Put half of the milk in a tight-lidded jar, shake a few times until foamy, open the lid and microwave for 30 seconds. You have now stabilized milk foam ready. In a cup, whisk together the rest of the ingredients with the other half of the milk and warm them in the microwave for 30 seconds, add stabilized milk foam on top.
Add your favorite coffee
- Prepare 2 shots of espresso and top with the milk mixture. Then sprinkle some warm spice mix and pinch of fine pink salt and enjoy!
